Scholarship
As APPSANS we believe that every girl child deserves a brilliant future. In light of this, this scholarship fund is established to support and help make lasting impressions on the next generation of leaders. We are grateful to the North America community of APPSANS who have made this dream possible. If you would love to establish a scholarship fund in your memory you are welcome to do so.
Details:
A one time scholarship fund of $500 per individual for two deserving Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary School graduating students entering a tertiary institution including technical, trade, nursing, education, and vocational establishments. The scholarship will help cover Admission Fees, Books, and Tuitions.
Eligibility:
All Archbishop Porter Girls students currently enrolled in the school and have successfully gained admission to the listed institutions. The said applicant must be an active member of a year group or chapter.
Requirements:
1. Students should provide an Admission Letter and a personal letter (between 250- 500 words) explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship.
2. Students should also submit a copy of their transcripts
from the school and 2 letters of recommendation from the headmistress and one teacher.
3. All applications and required documents should be emailed to appsansusa1@gmail.com.
Selection:
The applicant will be selected by the Scholarship Committee of APPSA NORTH AMERICA and overseen by the North America executives to ensure fairness.
Circulation:
The scholarship will be published on the APPSA NORTH AMERICA website, Facebook, WhatsApp and all other social media platforms as well as notifications sent through the school and APPSA.
